Waterstone West Property

From Century Boulevard and right off Waterstone Square is Waterstone West Property, a low-rise development of 70 sectional title apartments set in beautifully landscaped gardens at Century City. This too was part of the award winning development by SAPOA voted the best residential development of 2010.

Built at a cost of R100m by Rabie Property Group, Waterstone West offer a wide variety of studio, one and two bedroom apartments and three bedroom apartment.

Set over basement parking, the three-storey building has been orientated to maximise water views and most apartments will face onto cascading waterways. Those that don't will have the benefit of being north facing and capturing all the warmth from the sun and patios and balcony's which are relative wind-free.

All apartments have either a balcony or terrace with large court yards on most of the ground floor apartments. Studio and one bedroom apartments will each have one undercover parking bay while most two and three bedroom units come with two undercover parking bays. Some apartments have storerooms as well.

Excluding balconies, unit sizes range from 38 square metre studios to the top-of-the-range three bedroom apartments of 138 square metres with the largest apartments being located on the corners of the building. This development started construction in March 2008 and was completed in March 2009. Waterstone West Development properties were the third and final phase of the Waterstone project its construction will complete this entire precinct at Century City. The entire Waterstone precinct was voted the top residential development in South Africa in 2010 by the South African Property Owners' Association, is a secure waterfront village of apartments, townhouses and villas.
